LA SEÑORA, EL ABUELO and EPÍLOGO
|
|
EL ABUELO, Directed by José Luis Garci, the film
takes place in the beginning of the twentieth
century in a little village in the north. Here people
still value family honour. Don Rodrigo de Arista,
Count of Albrit, thinks he knows all about it, that
is, until he returns from South America, old, half
blind and ruined.
EPÍLOGO, Directed by Gonzalo Suárez, the film
tells the story of the conflicts between two writers
who are in love with the same woman. They have
worked together for years. One day they separate.
Ten years later Ditirambo visits Rocabruno to get
out of him just one last story…
LA SEÑORA Television series. Directed by Lluís
Ma Güell.

The cemetery at Niembru: Located at the inlet of El Vau
between the villages of Barru and
Niembru, this beautiful cemetery together
with the neoclassical church of Nuestra
Señora de los Dolores (Our Lady of Sorrows)
(1794) is one of the most beautiful
sights along the Asturian coast. Close to
Cabu Prietu, the inlet is 42 metres wide at
its mouth and 142 metres long. It is dry at
low tide. They used to tie up boats next
to the church in order to load up lemons,
bacon and walnuts, destined for French
ports.
